Pareto
Pareto is a small village of just over 500 inhabitants, located in the province of Alessandria but bordering Savona, with which it shares some dialect features and a long intertwined history.
Ponzone
The village stands in a wild natural setting teeming with wildlife, perched on the ridge of a hill more than 600 meters above sea level. From here, sweeping views open over the Erro Valley, the Ligurian and Piedmontese Apennines, and the Alpine arc, framed by Monviso on one side and the Monte Rosa massif on the other.
Cavatore
This village, set between the Valle di Erro and Valle di Visone, has a truly distinctive atmosphere. Small and built in stone, it has lost three-quarters of its population over the past century, and today only about 260 people live here.
