Parodi Ligure
Between Gavi and Ovada, on the last hills before the Ligurian Apennines, lies the village of Parodi Ligure, in the province of Alessandria and, despite its name, still within Piedmont.

The town lies between Ovada and Gavi, in the northern Ligurian Apennines, and its municipal territory even borders Genoa along an Apennine ridge—the closest point in Piedmont to the sea, just seven kilometers away.
